Peter said—Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, what does this mean?
Thanksgiving can be a joyous time but can also be a sad, miserable time for you and I. Or even parts of Thanksgiving can be some of each. Some of you are in a house full of family and friends (i.e. maybe full of joy) and some of you might be alone (i.e. maybe full of loneliness. I have experienced both through the years.Jeanne and I have the Thanksgiving Opportunity to be with
Arlene and my children, their spouses and the grandchildren in Morrison, CO for
Thanksgiving. As many of you know, it doesn’t always work for that to happen,
and the clock is a tickin’! We understand that we have expiration dates! Last Sunday was our first church service back here in the Valley of the Sun. Some old friends from NW IA sat next to us to our left and an old friend from SW MN sat next to us to our right. Our old MN friend told me that she is #3 in her church back in MN! #3, I acted puzzled! She said--I'm the third oldest in our church and might be moving up soon!
And Paul said--Do not be anxious about anything, but….
Have a FUN day my friends unless you have other plans. (-:
